Hi ajay, generally for TNEA counselling it is the cutoff marks of Maths, Physics, Chemistry is taken into account and along with it you caste is also very important. There are only less top colleges and hence the demand for these colleges are very high. If you need to be part of a decent college with better placement, you need to score atleast 180-185+ in the cummulative cutoff. If you need to be part of a good college you need to have around 190+ and for the top and top most you need to have atleast 195+ cutoff. The seats are very less and the competition is very high, a cutoff difference of even 0.25 marks can cause a difference.
