What is the percentage of placement in mechanical engineering department?

Hello Suvayan Mukhopadhyay.

I would like to inform you that it generally depends upon different colleges. Some have placement percentage around 77 or 78 whereas some of them even have as low as below fifty percent. It mainly depends on the company coming for placement and the number of talented students the college holds.

Hello Suvayan, 

Please specify the name of the college with respect to which you're asking the question. Still i will give you a general idea over it, so good colleges offer a placement percentage of anything between 78% to 92% and non reputated college offers a placement of around 50% to 25%.
