For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidate should have passed Class 12th exam in the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

NDA ( Nationa Defence Academy ) is a national level exam conducted by UPSC every year for the candidates seeking entry in Defence forces like Army, Navy and Air force. This exam is conducted two times in a year - NDA I & NDA II.

NDA I application form will be released on January 8th, 2020 through online mode and NDA II form on 10th June 2020.

NDA I exam is scheduled to held on 19th April 2020 and NDA II exam on 6th September 2020.

Educational Qualifications:

• For Army Wing of National Defence Academy ( NDA ): Candidate must have qualified 12th or equivalent examination.
• For Air Force & Naval Wings of NDA & for 10+2 cadet Entry Scheme at the  Indian Naval Academy : Candidate must have qualified 12th or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam.

NDA Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) defines the eligibility criteria for NDA 2020 Exam and releases it along with the official notification of NDA. Candidates willing to appear in NDA exam 2020 should follow it before applying for the NDA exam. The NDA 2020 Eligibility Criteria states that only unmarried male candidates aged between 16.5 to 19.5 years, who have passed or who are appearing in class 12 (10+2) examination can take the NDA exam for 2020 .
