The placements in government funded technical institutes are pretty fine. It varies from colleges to colleges and you can't certainly say about the exact placement percentage of the all the GFTIs. However ,there are few GFTI colleges like, Birla institute of technology, Mesra,Ranchi, School of architecture and planning, New Delhi, 

Indian institute of engineering science and technology, Shibpur.
