Yes sir,  i understand your query regarding the admission in btech from diploma as i would like to give you a brief about this as you have to register for the counselling as you are registered for it you will have to make the orofile with the all details and you have to follow the procedure of choice filling and selecting the colleges as per your preference and after that the verification of documents are done after that reporting in the colleges are done.

I understand you query.you can get direct admission in 2nd year in btech by lateral entry exam .If you have scored 60 percent in the diploma then only you are elligible for many lateral entry entrance exam otherwise not.Many colleges conducted lateral entry exam so you can give their exam and get admission in btech degree.

For admission to B.tech program you need to appear JEE MAIN followed by JEE ADVANCED. Securing good rank in JEE ADVANCED will let you a seat in IIT. You can also appear the state level examination for admission to B.tech at state universities. You can also appear examinations to take admission at VIT or BITS.
