what is the procedure to become law officer in CBI ? AND educational qualifications required.

Hi there,

CBI is a national agency which is focused in handling criminal cases. It is governemd by Indian government.

In order to become a CBI officer one must follow these steps:

  • A student must have passed their class 12th from any stream from a recognized board of India.
  • A candidate must have pursued undergraduate course from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks into it.
  • For becoming a CBI officer,  a candidate should have appeared in SSC-CGL examination and can also in UPSC examination which is held on national level.
  • Selected candidates will be asked for interview which is required to be cleared.

Several elgibity criteria are also their regarding physique of an individual.
