Hello Viraj, 

For change of university after 1st year of BTECH you will need to write the entrance examination for the University. You can always change the university and its totally dependents upon you. If you have cleared the University examination after 1st year of btech and got a seat in that university, then you have to just take all the documents from your college and submit to the particular university.
