After completing your diploma, you can give an exam for Lateral Entry into B.Tech. Different exams are conducted for this purpose by different states. For example, Odisha conducts OJEE for lateral entry.

If someone has done diploma then he/she can get direct admission in 2nd year of BTech it is known as lateral entry course. Universities like JNU, Lovely Professional University, Anna University etc provides lateral entry programmes for diploma holders. So, you can check the other information related to it on the official website of these universities. As admissions are open so it will be good if you apply soon.
