AP PGECET counselling 2020 will conduct in online mode. Only those students who will be shortlisted will be eligible to participate in the counselling process

Counselling 2020 process is given below to you:-
Registration & Fee payment - Students who will be shortlisted for the counselling of AP PGECET 2020 will have to log in to their accounts using hall ticket number and rank. After successful login, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 600 for SC/ST) in online mode. The transaction ID should be kept safe for future references.
Reporting at centres - Upon successful payment, you will be required to report at their respective document verification centres. The rank card of AP PGECET 2020 has to be provided to the authorities. On the basis of the ranks, you will be called and you will have to show their transaction ID or processing fee payment receipt and also provide their mobile number and Aadhaar card number.
Document Verification - In the next step, you will have to get the following documents verified:

  • Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2020
  • Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2020
  • SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Memo
  • Study Certificate for class 10 to Graduation
  • Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying exam i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Aadhaar card/ Household card)
  • Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
  • Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P excluding the period of their employment outside A.P from M.R.O in case of candidates who studied outside the state of A.P
  • Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)/ Household card (white)/ Ration Card
  • Transfer Certificate

After document verification, a receipt will be generated. Keep it safe for future use. Also, a login ID will be sent to a registered mobile number.
Filling of choices - you will also have to generate a password for the login id using the registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth. Upon successful login, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates using which candidates will be able to fill out their preferred institute and courses. You are advised to select as many options they can to increase the chances of admission.
Allotment of seat - Finally, the last step will be seat allotment. The authorities will allot seats to the you on the basis of merit, availability of seat, and preferred filled choices. Seat allotted candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter and report through self-reporting system. You will also have to report at the allotted institutes failing which will lead to forfeiture of seat.
