CMAT score is accepted by more than 1000 B-schools across the country. The qualifying marks or cutoff marks are different for different B-schools. Every B-school decides its own qualifying/cutoff marks. if you meet that criteria for a particular B-school, you get shortlisted for the admission process of that particular institute. Obviously, to get admission in a top B-school, you would need to score a high percentile. For Ex. the CMAT cutoff for admission to Goa Institute of Management is 99.85 percentile, for JBIMS Mumbai, the CMAT cutoff is 99.92 percentile or 285 marks.
