The UPSC application fee for the UPSC exam is Rs 100 for general category and there is no application fee for female candidates/ SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-servicemen.

Candidates must pay a fee of Rs 100, except for Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates, who are exempt from paying the fee. which means they do not have to pay any examination fee to appear in the exam. Those who will successfully clear the UPSC prelims exam will have to apply for the UPSC mains exam as well.
