What is the rule for a handicap student to get reservation.

This criteria is for all India quota seata-

1) candidate who have any kind of locomotor disability and have the percentage disability falling between 50-70% can get a seat

2) if the seats reserved for locomotor disability candidate remain unfilled then these seats will be transferred to candidates with disability of 40-50%

3) a certificate has to be issued by a government body indicating the level of disability has to be produced before the assessment board.certificate can be issued by following hospitals-

a)  VMMC,New Delhi

b) all India institute of physical medicine and rehabilitation,Mumbai

c) institute of post graduate medical education and research,kolkata

d) Madras medical college,chennai.

In every state there will be reservation acvoaccorto the state government reservation policies.
