For Journalists be it in Print Media or TV Media, salary increases with age. You have Famous Journalists like Arnab Goswami, Rajdeep Dardesai and Ravish Kumar making in crores annually, whereas a fresher at any Print Media house like TOI or Indian Express, makes approximately 3 Lakhs per annum. However the average salary of a Journalist in India is nearly, 5 lakhs per year.
