Greetings, aspirant!

The Indian armed forces have their own court to upkeep law and order in its functioning. The Judge Advocate generals preside over this court.

As for the salary, JAG officers upon starting out get a fixed salary of 15000/- INR per month. After getting posted as a lieutenant, the salary goes up to 56000/- per month.

Besides the actual pay, JAG officers also receive many benefits including pensions, housing allowances, travelling allowances, rations, railway concessions, free hospital facilities etc.

During training, stipend of Rs 15,000 per month are offered to the candidates. On clearing the training, they are joined in the rank of Lieutenant. That time they can get salary around 60000 per month. With promotion in post, the salary would also increase. Along with salary, they will also get some amazing benefits and allowances of being in the Indian Army.
