Hey aspirant,
JEE Mains is a national level entrance examination conducted by NTA. It is an entrance exam to get into Engineering colleges, and also to appear for JEE Advanced to get admission in IITs. You won't get a job by giving JEE Mains. So, there is no money given to you for appearing in and passing the exam.
If you score well in JEE Mains and get admission in the government or good private colleges through state counselling then after graduation you can sit for interviews through on campus or off campus placements. If you crack the interview you will get hired and get salary accordingly.
If you rank within 2,50,000 in JEE Mains you can sit for JEE Advanced. If you score well in JEE Advanced you can sit for JoSAA counselling. Then you can get admission in the top IITs. The placements through IITs are much more efficient. Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Amazon etc. come for campusing in IITs. The average package offered is 10- 20 LPA in top IITs. So, after graduating you have the chance to sit for these placements, but not just by giving JEE Mains exam.
Hope this helps,
All the best!

Hello Aspirant,
Salary is not as much based on jee mains or jee advanced it is based on your branch or your academic performance. If you are from any average nit and your academics and extra curriculum is best then you can get job in good company with good package. And if you are from iit and your academic performance is not so good then you can revive less package also.
Also package is differ from branch to branch and college to college.
But on an average you can get approximate 8-9 lakhs.
