According to the rules of University Grants Council, the assistant professor is paid with the brand payoff of 37400 Indian rupees to 67 thousand Indian rupees per month. A grade pay is also paid of 10000. But most of the private colleges do not pay this type of salary to their faculty as complaint by by some members of the private autonomous colleges.
