B.Tech In Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the fastest growing field of engineering which mainly focuses on communication part with the knowledge of the electronics field.
The scope for electronics engineer is good in India and Abroad too.
After pursuing this course you can get jobs in Central or state government sectors and private sectors in aviation and avionics, consumer electronics, electricity plant, manufacturing, transportation, communication & telecommunication, computer application, radio & television, diagnostic equipment manufacturing and offshore companies.
You can expect a salary of 3.5-4.5 lakh per annum as a fresher and after attaining experience and knowledge in the course you can earn enough good.

When manufacturing industry will speed up against services industry, electronic and communication engineering will rise. But it isn't a matter of few years. Also the syllabus is also too much outdated and restrictive, that it mostly isn't of any use for the current industrial requirements.

Electronics industry might see a positive change in the year 2020, demand of the students will increase, demand of high quality electronic and communication scientists will increase, but salary will (on average) decrease.
