1.Applied mechanics, bridges the gap between physical theory and its application to technology. It's used in many fields of engineering, especially mechanical engineering and civil engg.

2.Computational mathematics involves mathematical research in maths as well as in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role, and emphasizes algorithms, numerical methods & symbolic computations.

3.Mining in the engineering discipline is the extraction of minerals from underneath, above or on the ground. Mining engg is associated with many other disciplines, such as mineral processing, exploration, geology, and metallurgy, geotechnical engineering and surveying.
