The COMEDK syllabus is released for all three subjects – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The COMEDK syllabus is prescribed by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. However, the syllabus for COMEDK 2020 is mainly based on the syllabus of 1st and 2nd PUC or equivalent 11th and 12 standard syllabi. The syllabus comprehensively describes all the topics and concepts that are important for the final examination.

The main topics from the respective subjects are:

1. Mathematics -Differential Equations, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Circles, Three Dimensional Geometry, Probability.
2. Physics- Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Electrostatics, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Motion in One Dimension.
3. Chemistry - Chemical Reactions and Chemical Kinetics, Biomolecules, Nuclear Chemistry, Polymers, Coordination Chemistry, Chemistry in Action, Environmental Chemistry.

COMEDK syllabus is based on basically three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
