General Studies-I :Indian History with special emphasis on National Movement and Geography  of India with special reference to West Bengal.   

General Studies-II : It covers topics such as Science and Scientific & Technological advancement, Environment, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

 Following is the syllabus of General Studies I and General Studies II for WBCS Exam-

General Studies-I : It covers topics concerning the following

(i) Indian History with special emphasis on National Movement and

 (ii) Geography  of India with special reference to West Bengal.   

General Studies-II : It covers topics such as Science and Scientific & Technological advancement, Environment, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
