Ampere is the unit of Current. One Ampere means One coulomb per one second. It is denoted by symbol A.

Volt is the unit of voltage ie potential difference. One volt means one joule per one coulomb. V is the symbol of volt.

Voltage over current becomes Resistance and it's unit is Ohm.
