Dear aspirant,

The EWS certificate is for general category students whose family income is less than 8 lakh , he/she should not own a flat of more than 1000 sq ft. He/she should also not own a land of 5 acres of land.

The validity of the EWS certificate remains upto 1 year . You have to issue your certificate on or after 1st April. And after one year you need to make a new one.
