Dear student,

The work/ function of heat are listed below.

  • To pump oxygenated blood to body parts.
  • To maintain a proper blood pressure.
  • To pump hormones & vital substances to different body parts.
  • Receives deoxygenated blood and carry metabolic waste products from the body parts  & it is pumped to the lungs for oxygenation of it.

Pumping of Heart:

------>>>Through Pulmonary valve, the right ventricle pumps the oxygen poor blood to the lungs.

------>>>After that, from lungs, the left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood

------>>> Through Mitral valve the left atrium pumps the oxygen-rich blood to the left ventricle.

------>>>And through, Aortic valve the left ventricle pumps the oxygen-rich blood to all other body parts.

May this information was helpful to you.
