Hello,

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India's domestic intelligence, internal security and counter-intelligence agency.

The IB is used to garner intelligence from within India and also execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. The IB is particularly tasked with intelligence collection in border areas.

To become an Intelligence Bureau officer you need to clear an examination first.

The candidates who are thinking of applying to any posts in IB need to be graduate from a recognised University with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. They should have the knowledge of computers.

You must know the exam pattern clearly and prepare well for the exam. There will be two tiers in the exam. The ones who clears Tier I will become eligible to sit in Tier 2 exam.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!
