TNPSC Group 2 and Group 4 are different exams for different posts.

Group 2 exam is for higher-level jobs with more salary and responsibility. It has prelims, mains, and interview.

Group 4 exam is for entry-level jobs. It has only one written exam and no interview.

If Group 2 exam is announced but Group 4 is not, it is normal. TNPSC releases exams based on vacancies and government approval. Group 4 exam will be conducted only when enough posts are available.
