Torque defines the strength of the engine which means it defines how strong your engine and bhp means brake horse power which is a measure of horsepower of an engine and technical relation is that the torque times the engine speed and the output produced will be power which is called brake horse power bhp and technically more torque directly proportional to higher acceleration where as more bhp is directly proportional to higher top speed.
