Unisexual reproduction means reproduction taking place either with male or female gamete. For example  in some plants only one sex cell is present either pistel(carpel) or stamen, so in this case reproduction occur when pollen grains from that unisexual flower transfers to any other unisexual flower with pistels only or any other bisexual flower.

Unisexual reproduction involves one parent either with genital organs  of single sex or the gametes produced are sterile so that there is no production of viable seeds. This is otherwise called as parthenogenesis.
In organisms like honey bees and wasps, males develop by the method of parthenogenesis.Some reptiles also have the capability of reproducing by parthenogenesis.
