See if you belong to General category ,it has no reservation and will not help you in any way in counselling for medical seats.

But if you belong to any certain category like OBC,SC or ST then there are reserved seats in every college for these categories so you have an advantage of getting a seat through your category rank . Therefore with less scores also using the reservation candidates get admission in good medical colleges.
