This is very simple.
We know, tan x= (sin x/cos x). So by using this formula we can easily solve this problem.

Let's solve it.
sin x - cos x (tan x)
= sin x - cos x (sin x/ cos x)
*cos x gets cancelled*
= sin x - sin x
= 0 (Ans)
