Vegetative reproduction is any form of asexual reproduction occurring in plants in which a new plant grows from a fragment of the parent plant or a specialized reproductive structure.

Many plants naturally reproduce this way, but it can also be induced artificially.

This is a kind of asexual reproduction process in plants. Vegetative propagation mean that plants reproduces through steams, leaves and roots. Propagation methods has been in demand nowadays such as grafting and budding. This method is quick and more certain, Produces identical quality as the parent plant, plants that don't have viable seeds can produce through this method, flowers produced with this method are more superior in quality. However through this process no new varieties of plants can be produced,  and it also results in overcrowding.
