Ziegler natta catalyst is the mixture of :-

triethylaluminium (C2H5)3Al and
titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4).

Ziegler natta catalyst is used to produce High density polythene.
It is used in the synthesis of polymers of 1-alkenes
This catalyst was discovered by German chemist named Karl Ziegler
