Hello,

Some of the most common mistakes that a drop candidate does for the preparation of NEET are:

1) Not having consistency during their preparation. Remember, you are competing with students who are preparing vigorously 24×7 to score good rank in NEET. You must have a consistency in your preparation. Even if you study only 3 hours a day, make it a regular habit.

2) Revise the chapters you prepared regularly. Make sure to give an hour or two just for revising what you learnt. Learning a new chapter and revising it days later is one of the most made mistakes by a NEET aspirant.

3) Try not to concentrate your study or focus on your strong subject. Always diverse your study hours. Preparing only the subjects you are strong at and giving less time to weak ones is also a most made mistake.

4) Skipping chapters or topics is something that backfires most of the time. Never skip a topic or chapter even if it has less weightage. Remember even the tiniest details or even that one mark matters.

5) Never bound yourself for a low cut off. Never keep a cut off in mind. Most of the times we aim for less and that is one of the most demotivating mistakes.

6) It is important to know the proper method of studying the chapters. Even in biology, there are chapters that we should by-heart and chapters which needs complete understanding.

7) Skipping the mock tests is also a big mistake. Mock test help in preparing better for the exam. It also gives an idea about the type of questions that can be asked in the exam.

8) Never Demotivate yourself. Remember being positive brings back positivity.

I hope this helps,

All the best
