Aspirants are perplexed as to which examination code to select when filling out the NEET-UG application form.

Here's a quick rundown of the NEET 2021 qualifying examination codes:

Code for Candidates Appearing for Class 12 in 2021 in the NEET Qualifying Examination

CODE 01: A candidate who is taking the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th Standard in 2021, and whose results are pending may apply and take the test, but he or she will not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS if the qualifying examination is not passed with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of the first round of Counselling.

When should Code 01 be used?

In 2021, a candidate who will be taking the 12th standard, PUC, or Intermediate Examination. [Candidates whose Board exams have been cancelled and their results have not yet been announced should utilise Code 01 for NEET 2021.]

So, Code 01 should be filled in Qualification examination codes for students who have cleared 10+2 in 2020 for NEET UG
