Hi you have plenty of time, and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare

Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too

Biology-aiims doesnt cover most part from ncert like how neet does, in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can

General knowledge and current affairs- read newspapers regularly, keep yourself updated always, use year books, they ll help you alot.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is the top most Indian government supported medical research and educational institute that conducts an annual entrance exam for MBBS courses. Every year lakhs of students sit for test for getting admission at this premium college. An aspirant appearing for AIIMS must have a thorough knowledge about the subjects asking in exam like physics, biology and chemistry.

The paper will consist of 200 multiple choice questions including 60 questions each from Biology, Chemistry and Physics and 20 General Knowledge and reasoning based questions. There also be negative marking for every incorrect answer.

Tips for AIIMS 2016:

• Refer to NCERT course books of 11th as well as 12th standards for comprehensive preparation.

• Every AIIMS aspirant must strive to score well at the board’s examination to obtain the qualifying percentage to appear for the AIIMS exam.

• Practise solving a lot of previous years’ sample and mock papers of AIIMS to get a fair idea of the test pattern. Try solving mock AIIMS papers within the assigned time to improve speed.

• Maintain a study schedule and update it regularly with tasks accomplished and those that are yet to be attempted.

• Since numerical based questions are asked in the paper so it is best to understand the core concepts rather that learning by rote.

• Since there is negative marking for wrong answers, students must avoid guesswork to arrive at an answer.

• There is no escape from hard work; the more you study the more confident you become. Thus an honest effort will take you closer to realising your dream of clearing AIIMS.
