There are plenty of opportunities and options with three streams basically Arts, commerce, Scienece.

Choosing a career shoukd always take into consideration about your area of interest and aptitude for the same, if you fulfill both paramters then its wise to go for that respective course.
Engineering has been off lately the most preferred stream under Scienece, Bcom with CA certificate is highly recommended under Commerce, And undsr Arts all the options have great opportunities popping up like BMM.
Choosing a good college becomes mandatory as this can help reduce travel time, boost your resume with strong brand name, great faculty support, state of art Infrastructure, rankings.
If you're willing to take up MBA in future, its wise to take up good college from now on and score really well in 12th and graduation as scores shall be counted for MBA.
