After giving JEE Mains examination you should check how much score you are getting and compare it with the last year cutoffs. If you have scored 100+ then you should be preparing for JEE Advance exam.

If you feel that it is doubtful whether you will qualify the exam then i suggest  you to prepare for other engineering entrance exams.
