Hello Raj, 

There are numerous car design courses offered in the bachelors and masters degree level. These courses will teach you the basic knowledge needed. 

To become an automative designer,  most employers will accept degrees in engineering, industrial design,  transportation design or mechanical engineering with and automotive design concentration. 

Other than this, you must also have practical knowledge about cars. You can apply for internships after your bachelors course to gain experience.
