Hello Ankit

In order to become an organic chemist, you should at least have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry so that you can get entry-level jobs such as research assistant. If you are looking for a career in areas such environment, pharmaceutical or agriculture you need to have a Master’s Degree. If you are interested in doing research and development, then you should your Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Some of the top colleges for pursuing higher studies in Chemistry are St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Loyola College, Chennai, Christ University and Bengaluru etc.

Hope this helps.
