With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that Information technology and computer science are highly in demand and both have a highly good future if you are hardworking and good in coding and core subjects . Its just diffferent of some subjects in both the branches ,rest placement opporunties ,prioirities all are same . I would like to advise you to focus on coding rather thinking on stream ,start with data structures
