Hi Sudeep,

Adjusting to your hostel will be one of the most memorable and difficult experiences of your life. It is necessary that you keep these items before leaving(for any course or college):

  • Your toiletry kit- should include your toothbrush, razor, perfumes, combs, etc as these items are personal and you should use your own.
  • A small laptop/ study table- You never know whether your hostel has a table suitable for you, so keep a small one just in case with a small lamp.
  • Your clothes- Do not take too much clothing as the hostel rooms are pretty small and you may want to occupy as little as possible.
  • Your medications- if you have any.
  • A few good books- to read when you are bored or free.
  • A poster or wall hanging- to keep you motivated or connected to your childhood memories.

Best of luck.
