Dear Rahul, I would suggest you go according to the Provisional certificate and select 2015 as the year of passing. Technically your provisional degree comes before your marks list is sent to you. Final year students are also eligible for entrance examinations and because you were in final semester by December 2015, your provisional certificate says December 2015. Taking that into consideration, your year of passing is the session that you appeared for the exam and not when you receive the marks list.
