There are several ways in which you can apply for the Indian Navy after 12 ^th grade.

National Defense Academy (NDA)

• These entries are for those who wish to join the Navy as officers.
• For NDA, your age must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years
• You must have passed 12 ^th grade (with physics, chemistry, and math).
• The exam is conducted twice a year
• NDA training will be for 3 years + 1 year of Indian military academy training

Sailor Entries (Artificer Apprentice (AA), Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruit (MR)):

• These entries are for those who wish to join the Navy as sailors.
• your age must be between 17.5 to 21 years
• You must have passed 12 ^th grade with at least 60% marks

Cadet Entry Scheme {After Graduation}

• You must have passed 12 ^th grade with at least 70% marks

• After graduation with a 4-year B. Tech degree, you can join the Indian Naval Academy.
• Your age must be between 19 and 24 years
