Hi,

There are two types of fatty liver disease - one is alcoholic induced and other is non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. In common, the diet for fatty liver disease includes the following like plenty of fruits and vegetables, high fiber plants like legumes and whole grains, very little added sugar, salt, trans fat, refined carbohydrates, and saturated fat, say no alcohol. A low fat, reduced calorie - diet helps to lose weight and reduce the risk of fatty liver disease.

FOODS THAT YOU SHOULD EAT FOR A FATTY LIVER:

  • Coffee to lower abnormal liver enzymes
  • Greens to prevent fat buildup
  • Tofu to reduce fat buildup
  • Fish for inflammation and fat levels
  • Oatmeal for energy
  • Walnuts to improve the liver
  • Avocado to help protect the liver
  • Milk and other low - fat dairy to help protect from damage
  • Sunflower seeds for antioxidants
  • Olive oil for weight control
  • Garlic to help reduce body weight
  • Green tea for less fat absorption

FOODS TO AVOID IF YOU HAVE A FATTY LIVER:

  • Alcohol
  • Added Sugar
  • Fried Foods
  • Salt
  • White Bread, Rice and Pasta
  • Red Meat

Hope your query regarding fatty liver is clarified. Any other queries about the foods to eat if suffering from the fatty liver are always welcome.

I think it helps you!

Stay Healthy!!!

Keep Smiling:)

Wish you Good Luck!:)
