I would suggest you to prefer NSUT Mechanical anyday over AMU Mechanical. Netaji Subhas University of Technology, earlier NSIT Delhi is one of the Top Most campuses in North India as far as Mechanical Engineering is concerned after IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee, BITS Pilani and Delhi Technological University.

The Technical University has excellent infrastructure, faculty and research facilities. Being located near IT, Technology and Industrial Hubs of Delhi NCR, provide excellent scope and impetus to training and placement prospects. As far as Mechanical Department is concerned top companies in the Core Mechanical sector like Vedanta, Rockwell, Tata Motors, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Auto as well as major recuiters like BCG, Accenture, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Google, Adobe, TCS, Cognizant, HCL, Kearney, American Express in the Technology and Finance Domains are regular visitors for Campus recruitments and offer a median package anywhere between 10-15 LPA.
