Ews-Economically Weaker Section in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the General Category having an annual family income less than ₹8 lakhs and who do not belong to any reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC. 


Crl- it is common rank list which is applicable to everyone

In the Ews quota the chances of getting best seat will be lesser compared to crl rankers

I've asked for general rank Vs ews rank for the same percentile not the explanation of what ews is!!
