If you are interested for teaching profession then after completing BA programme you can go for postgraduation programme then after NET as a Assistant Lecturer in a college or University and PhD you can prefer to become a Lecturer.

Although, B.Ed degree helps you being appointed as a school teacher, nowadays, The candidates also have to appear TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) to become a teacher in Government schools.
