Inorder to write the JEE mains and Advance entrance exam the aspirants should have the minimum age of 17 year as well the maximum age will be around 24 years upto which the person can be able to write both the JEE mains as well JEE Advance. For General and OBC candidates whose birth date falls on or after 1st October 1994 will be eligible to take JEE Main 2019.

However, in the case of reserve category the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. people under the categories of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST), as well as Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who are born on or after 1st October 1989, will be eligible.

The birth date given in the Secondary Education Board/University Certificate will be considered.

But minimum age should be 17 years.
