IP University Exam Pattern of MA English Entrance is an objective as well as subjective type paper which is divided in two parts :-

• Part 1 :  consists of 100 MCQ questions with a total of 400 marks (4 marks for each question)
• Part 2 : consists of one essay type question which contains 200 marks.

MA English Entrance Syllabus of IP University consists of the following topics:-
Part 1 Syllabus

• English Language and Comprehension(30%)
• General Awareness and Culture (10%)
• Literature (60%)

Part 2 Syllabus

• History of English
• Literary Criticism and Theory
