For sc and st candidates the cutoff is relatively lower than other categories also there are also around 1450 seats reservation for sc and st categories.
Hence scoring over 120 marks in jee might help you to get admission in the top nits.

You can refer to these links because even when the total is now 300 (JEE Main 2020) the marks will be normalized into NTA Score and then into Ranks. The information (cutoff ranks/ opening and closing ranks) given in the above links is in the form of ranks and not score. So, you can consider the similar ranks for 2020.
