See the private colleges salary may vary as per the college to college but for government colleges as per the  UGC salary review of assistant professor jobs under the salary band of INR 37400 to INR 67,000 with a salary grade of INR 10,000 will be INR 1.44 Lacs. The figures may fluctuate depending on the area at which you are getting the jobs and other but you will get near about that.
